| Kazimierz Lubecki (1880-1939) – pioneer of the humanitarian protection of animals on the Polish lands |
| This article analyses the writings of Kazimierz Lubecki, which reveal him as a pioneer of the humane protection of animals in Polish territories. A study of his literary work has made it possible to distinguish a number of specific issues. Individual paragraphs of the present article discuss the contribution of philosophical, religious and legal systems to shaping an appropriate attitude to animals by commending desirable behaviour and condemning reprehensible behaviour towards them. |
