| Man towards animals in statements of the Church of England |
| The purpose of this article is to analyze the statements of the Church of England on the ethical aspects of man’s use of animals for his purposes. From the rich teaching of this ecclesial community on ecotheological topics, a few documents have been selected that address this issue. The attitude of the Church of England to the killing of animals, their breeding and consumption of meat and hunting is characterised. The evolution and development of the teaching can be seen in them. |
